NazKidzKamp Website - What You Will Find II Print
The New and Improved Website for Nazarene Children's Camping

In 2009, Children’s Ministries International introduced a new and improved website for Nazarene Children’s Camping. What follows is part two of a three-part series reviewing what district children’s camping directors, pastors, campers and parents can find when they visit www.nazarene.org/nazkidzkamp.

The website is divided into three main sections: Operation, Helpful Ideas, and Resources. In this month’s article, we will look at the Helpful Ideas section.

Helpful Ideas

The Helpful Ideas section is further divided into two subsections, Helpful Ideas and Games.

Helpful Ideas covers topics like:

  • Camp Ideas
  • Save Money
  • Themes

When children’s camping directors click on the above categories, they will find helpful ideas and tips from fellow children’s camping directors. These include creative ways to save money on equipment, food, crafts, and staff, as well as ideas on creating a theme for your children’s camp.

The Games subsection includes:

  • Activities Kids (and Directors) Rave About
  • Other Tried and True Activities
  • What to Do When It Rains
  • About Caravan Badges and Camp

Within the categories featured in the Games subsection, you will again find a large number of helpful and insightful strategies from fellow children’s camping directors for some of the best games for your children’s camp.

The new and improved NazKidzKamp website was designed to be a resource for all who are involved with children’s camping. In our next issue (January 2010), we will take a closer look at the second main section, Helpful Ideas, but you can visit NazKidzKamp today and explore all the website has to offer.
